Training Performed by a DISCOVER Staff Trainer

Standard Training (10 Observer Candidates)

Assessment Training Fee (staff): $5,600

The above fee covers the initial 5-day training and the two-day follow-up training that determines certification.  Note that this fee does not include travel expenses incurred by the Assessment Trainer(s) or materials, forms, and equipment used in the Assessment.  Travel expenses, if applicable, are to be paid by the school and are billed after each training segment.  Expenses are paid directly to the Trainer(s).  The school must purchase, in advance of the initial training session, all materials, forms, and equipment used in the Assessment.

DISCOVER may offer a discount on the training fees for additional teams that will be trained at the same time.  Thus, if your school or cooperative of schools trains 20 Observer Candidates in the same training, the second team's fee may be discounted.  Arrangements for discounts will be made on an individual basis.

The above fee covers the initial 5-day training and the two-day follow-up training that determines certification.  Note that this fee does not include travel expenses incurred by the Assessment Trainer(s) or materials, forms, and equipment used in the Assessment.  Travel expenses, if applicable, are to be paid by the school and are billed after each training segment.  Expenses are paid directly to Dr. Maker or Peggy Ormseth, as applicable.  The school must purchase, in advance of the initial training session, all materials, forms, and equipment used in the Assessment.  Dr. Maker's availability is limited, which necessitates scheduling far in advance.
