DISCOVER has submitted a proposal for a cooperative research project between the Assiut University and the University of Arizona, to develop and adapt the DISCOVER Model into the Egyptian culture.  We potentially will be working with Professor Emam Moustafa Sayed. Head of the Child Education Department, Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt.

     The project may be integrated with, or influenced by, the Saudi Arabian project (or vise versa), if either goes through.  Both projects involve adapting DISCOVER components to the Arabic language.  The primary focus of the Egyptian project will be multiple intelligences and creativity.  As part of the plan, Mr. Ahmed Hamdan Mohamed has been given a scholarship from the Egyptian government to study a Ph. D on multiple intelligences and creativity, at the University of Arizona.
