Taiwan is in the beginning stages of considering how the DISCOVER model might be adapted to Taiwanese culture.  Dr. Maker will be presenting at the Kang-Ning College of Nursing and at the Taiwan Normal University (Summer 2002), in preparation for establishment of cooperative research projects.  The Kang-Ning College of Nursing is particularly interested in the DISCOVER Pre-school Assessment.  This trip (and possible future research) is supported by the University of Arizona foundation, as part of an overall support agreement with Kang-Ning.
