In 2010 Maria Paz Gomez, doctoral student, and Dr. Maker have submitted proposals to funding agencies in Chile so that we can work collaboratively in adapting the DISCOVER model in Chile. These proposals were made along with an university-based enrichment program called BETA, from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso.

In 2011, we also began working with FundacEK, a foundation in Santiago that works with gifted students. The goal is to work with them to develop a Chilean version of DISCOVER . We are currently awaiting a decision about the funding of the project.
